2022年秋季季总结
男子对足球
It was another wild ride for the boys team this year. Due to injury, we did not play a single game with our full roster. The team battled all season long without several key players, which allowed for many of our younger players to receive valuable minutes on the field. The boys JV soccer team put together a successful season finishing with a 6-6-1 record. The girls soccer team saw great growth this year, qualifying for the state semifinals for the first time in 10 years. The season started with a last minute coaching change when coach Joel Apol, a cornerstone of the Eagles cross country and track teams for many years, was forced to step away from the season due to a biking accident. After this significant blow early on, the team rallied behind the team’s two seniors: Matthew Vander wall and Peter Visser, who helped lead by example and set the tone for the younger runners.
